Guest Lecture: Antimicrobial Resistance in Uganda

About This Event

The Department of Pharmacy invites all students and staff to a guest lecture on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) by Prof. David Kibenge from Makerere University College of Health Sciences. The lecture will cover the current state of AMR in Uganda, rational use of antibiotics, the role of Allied Health Professionals in combating AMR, and national AMR surveillance strategies.

Attendance is mandatory for all Pharmacy and Clinical Medicine students.
